Can I donate for a friend?
A: Yes, you can donate money towards a friend's account or any other account on LiveWire. You can either donate for a friend with PayPal, or mail the donation with a slip of paper inside of the envelope that includes your friend's membername.

Can I donate by mail?
A: Yes, please select a donation option above. You will be directed to your payment options and the mailing address. Please remember that LiveWire can only accept US dollars and cannot receive paper checks at this time.

As a registered non-profit public benefit corporation, LiveWire invests all donations back into the organization.

We are beginning the process to become a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
LiveWire does NOT have 501(c)3 status with the IRS yet.

LiveWire is an online community which seeks to provide a fun and confidential place where teens, high school students, and college school students can share their concerns and ideas while receiving support from their peers. LiveWire needs your donations because the revenue generated from banner advertisements is insufficient to support the site. Donations are used to pay our hosting bills.

If you mail your donation, you must include a note with your exact LiveWire membername or we will be unable to reward your LiveWire account for your donation. LiveWire cannot accept currency other than United States Dollars due to the inability to exchange it at our bank.
